Journalism 120 - Interview with Romima Munoz

On a sunny Friday morning, I was given the chance to interview Romima Munoz. Born in Peru on May 20th 1989, she lived since the age of 4, before making the move to the United States of America. I started off with asking about Skyline College. Romima made the decision to come to Skyline because of it's campus size and the fact that most of her friends would be attending here. Currently majoring in Journalism, she hopes to break into broadcasting. While involved in extracurricular at her middle school, she has yet to become involved here at Skyline. "I was on the swimming team back in middle school. I haven't become more involved at here [skyline], but I hope to in the future." However, with recent increase in student enrollment at our college, she does find classes and student life here a little more difficult. "The classes are much bigger now and the number of students can causes some distractions."

While not in class or working in the customer service center at Ross, she enjoys going to the beach and to the movies with friends. Also a fan of music, and it's power to help keep focus, she enjoys such genres as R&B and Jazz.

Unfortunately, our interview was cut short. While I could've used more time, I feel that I given enough to get to know Romima. She's one of many hard working students at Skyline College who seek to gain more knowledge and to further their own abilities as a student.

  1. You did a great job getting in the direct quotes. But you have a significant problem here that you should correct: You misspelled her first name.
